Your memories are valuable — we treat them with care

We value your privacy — and your memories. When you trust us with your photos, personal details, and artwork, we take that seriously. Art On Anything will never sell your images, share your data without permission, or use your personal photos for marketing unless you explicitly agree.

This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we keep it safe. We keep things simple and transparent — no legal jargon, just honesty.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what’s necessary to create your beautiful canvas prints and deliver them to you:

  • Personal details: name, email address, phone number, delivery address.
  • Order information: canvas sizes, quantities, framing preferences, and special instructions.
  • Images / artwork: the photos you upload or send to us for printing. We never use them for any purpose other than fulfilling your order unless you give us written permission.
  • Payment data: processed securely via PayFast or Yoco — we do not store your full card details on our servers.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Print and produce your canvas order accurately.
  • Communicate with you about order status, collection, or delivery updates (SMS, WhatsApp, or email).
  • Improve our services and respond to customer support requests.
  • Send occasional offers or news — only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe anytime.

We will never sell your photos or personal data to third parties.

3. Sharing your information

We only share your data with trusted partners who help us deliver your order:

  • Couriers (Courier Guy, Uber Connect, PUDO): your name, address, and phone number for delivery coordination.
  • Payment processors (PayFast, Yoco): to securely complete your transaction.
  • Email / SMS platforms: to send you order updates (we never share your images with them).

We never share your photos or artwork with anyone outside the production process.

4. Data retention & deletion

We keep your order records for up to 12 months to assist with reprints or inquiries. Your uploaded images are deleted from our active systems after 90 days unless you request earlier deletion. You can ask us to remove your personal data at any time by emailing hello@artonanything.co.za.

5. Cookies & website tracking

Our website uses basic cookies to remember your cart and improve your experience. We don’t use aggressive tracking or sell browsing data. You can disable cookies in your browser settings — the site will still work, but cart preferences may reset.

6. Your rights

Under South African law (POPIA), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention for warranty/tax purposes).
  • Object to direct marketing (we make it easy to unsubscribe).

To exercise any of these rights, just email us — we’ll respond within 7 days.
